Watch The Trailers
This small movie
first trailer stealing attention through a simple but touching. When I then saw
that one of my favorite UK artists: Gemma Arterton incorporated in this project
so I decided to try watching it. Is indie drama directed by Paul Andrew
Williams is awasome trailer?
Arthur and
Marion are two of the couple who had lived together for a long time despite
having two contrasting characters. Marion cheerful, always had a lot of friends
around him while Arthur is always itself, grabbed, and its relationship with
the child just is not anywhere near hell. Marion realized that the time in the
world not long after the disease recur. Even so he still forced himself to take
old people choir led by Elizabeth. He did not want to lose with the disease
until the last moment.
Arthur was
originally banned the Marion to continue joining such activities but in the end
he relented on Marion stubbornness. Thanks to a powerful solo performed by
Marion, their choir team eventually selected to enter the race. After all,
along with the pain of Marion he would not be able to join the choir group
during the competition. So who could take over his position? Is Arthur could
open her heart in the end?
Looking at the
relationship of Arthur and Marion I was reminded of the relationship of Carl
and Elie in Up. From the above statement I believe I just revealed my highest
praise for acting from Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave. Chemistry of these
two aging actor in an extraordinary charge each other. Very good performance of
the two main actors (especially Redgrave, it's hard not to fall in love with a
character so full of life and spirit) makes two other junior actors: Gemma
Arterton and Christopher Eccleston so closed.
I feel that the
scenario of Paul Andrew Williams was a little too focused on the relationship
between Arthur and Marion in the first half of the film so that when one
element is removed in mid-movie director can no longer cover it, although by
linking Arthur to Elizabeth and James. Not I said the relationship between the
three is bad, just that the relationship of Arthur and Marion had been so
strong that the second half of the film is noticeably deteriorated. Anything as
sweet as Gemma Arterton and Christopher
Eccleston, both can not match the charisma of Vanessa Redgrave.
I am quite
impressed by Paul Andrew Williams who never impose the songs in the film sung
by auto-tune style but more like Glee singing live alone. It is so made that
not all of the songs performed in the film is so good, some even discordant,
but it seems like all the songs that feel personal and completely sung from the
heart of the character. There were two highlights in the film is sung by
Vanessa Redgrave and Terence Stamp, and both therapeutic moments in this film -
do not be shy if you tear it melted in the sectio
