Watch The Trailers
I was a little
surprised to hear the news that Kick-Ass 2 will be made. Understandably first
film was praised by critics, but revenue at the box office is not very
splashy-splashy. Not only that story arc second volume Kick-Ass no longer have
the original values that made the first movie to be different from most
superhero films (What if in the real world there are people actually dress up
like a superhero and justice). With the abandonment of this film by Matthew
Vaughn). Will be able to new director Jeff Wadlow (Never Back Down) continue
the story of Dave Lizewski?
Kick-Ass
inspires a lot of people. Several years after the end of the first film that
more people in the streets dressed up as a superhero and uphold justice. Dave
himself trying to be tougher than ever to ask for help from Mindy (Hit-Girl).
Mindy is now staying with a friend of his father no longer has the freedom to
perform as Hit-Girl and fight crime. With no partner in Mindy, Dave was looking
for new colleagues and find the leader named Colonel Stars and Stripes, formed
a group in Justice Forever.
Of course not
all go smoothly for the group Justice Forever. Chris D'Amico aka Red Mist still
hold grudges after Dave and Mindy work together to kill his father. After
inheriting the entire property of his parents, Chris used the money to hire the
vicious criminals and form a supervillain group which he headed with the name
of the motherfucker. The purpose of this group is only one: to kill Kick-Ass
and paid blood revenge. What once started from a boy into a superhero dream has
now become something that will revolutionize the entire city of New York.
To be honest I
was initially very worried with resumes from Jeff Wadlow. The only movies he
directed that I ever heard was Never Back Down. I do not like it and the movie
was already five years old. Does this person have the credibility that is
qualified to work on Kick-Ass? Surprisingly ... yes. I really enjoy with this
movie - far exceeding the comic version though. The reason is because the level
of violence in this film is far more toned down from the comics page - mixes
scenes of violence with humor funny. There are times when it is serious to the
humorous tone shift may seem absurd, but more often it is done correctly the
transition so that the film does not feel too depressed. Please visit here
For the main
characters in this movie: Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, and The motherfucker all played
perfectly by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Chloe Grace
Moretz. When the first film worked first three have a talented young actors and
three years passed since then hone their talents. Aaron was able to balance the
geek Dave but also grounded. Christopher also appeared qualified as criminals
funny but also sadistic. Seeing The motherfucker always gives the impression of
what if siblings are given a loaded gun in his hand. The latter course is
Hit-Girl, played by Chloe Grace perfectly Moretz. The more beautiful, still
witty, and appear loose ... Chloe was born to portray Hit-Girl!
To new figures
that appear in this film probably the most famous name comes from Jim Carrey
figure who appears here as replacing Nicolas Cage from the first film ... in
other words, it lends credibility to his name. Similar as well as Cage is not
the first time Carrey intersect with the world of comics / superhero. Remember
the movie Batman Forever? Carrey performed well in his performance in this
movie that I regretted his critique of violence in this film. Maybe he has not
seen the movie The Raid is far - far - far more bloody than Kick-Ass 2 In
addition to Carrey steals artist most certainly is Olga Kurkulina a bodybuilder
who played the villain Mother Russia. You who have read the comic will not be
disappointed with how this one badass muscular women!
