When talking
about the film industry of the Philippines Southeast Asian countries will not
be so much as mentioned. Just as the Indonesian film industry of the country
seems to still having trouble finding markets outside their own country. That's
why when I saw that movie on the job get 100% approval rating from Rotten
Tomatoes, which many critics praised the famous American movie this movie I
became interested . This film is quite well known in his home country. Whether
as a share of the foreign market I can enjoy him?
Mario Maghari
aka Tatang and Daniel Benitez is a pair of assassins. They are assigned by the
police to clean (read: kill) the criminal. Tatang is a regular senior eliminate
criminals while Daniel is a back-up of young ambitious and want to be able to
work as the head so that he gets more money. Ironically they are both not part
of the police team. They are prisoners. Welcome to the country with one of the
most corrupt court system in the world, where an inmate could freely in and out
... from paying the right people.
On the other
hand Francis is a young cop who's father-in-law of a politician. With the help
of his father-in-law Francis could be promoted quickly, passing an honest cop
Joaquin Acosta. Francis was tasked by father-in-law took over the case at hand
the senior cop. Francis Acosta are accused upset do so the case can be covered.
Disturbed conscience, Francis tried to investigate more about the case ... and
found that sometimes politics is so dirty that only probe deeper will only drag
you into it.Please visit here
Film on the job
is one of the best crime drama I watched last year. Point. Performance of the
four main leads of this film: a combination of the two young stars Piolo
Pascual and Gerald Anderson as well as two senior stars Joel Torre and Joey
Marquez divide their roles with the chemistry of each fitting. There I felt
sympathy for her fourth because frankly there is no good or evil of the four.
They are all just pawns of the political caste game far above them. Reality
displayed by the movie director Erik Matti is certainly due to the fact that
the state slap that was the Philippines. It is a country where guns are sold
freely so many murders with firearms carried. Did you know that at Christmas
2013 and the herd with a gun robbed a jewelry store in Manila's largest mall
ala Rambo?
Besides the feel
gritty and Erik Matti courage to show the condition of prisons in the Philippines
without censorship of this film appear grounded because it makes us care about
the characters in it, especially the figure of Tatang and Francis. Tatang were
occasionally allowed to go home before returning to prison must hide his
identity as a hitman and hoped that his wife and son are still willing to
accept who she is. On the other hand Francis sandwiched between conscience and
the pressure of the family (including his wife) to close your eyes to the evil
that is clearly in front of him. The question becomes: what does justice to it
and what price to pay for him? Is justice even exist or they are just pawns to
advance the agenda of politicians to finish off their opponents? Joel Torre and
Piolo Pascual each provide a very slick performance here. Piolo Pascual for a
surprise because the actor is more commonly known in the films style light
comedy or a romantic comedy that is more in demand in this country.
Unfortunately
the film on the job that has been so good a bit saggy in the ending. In addition
rather easy to guess what will happen Erik Matti worse by slowing the tempo and
adding to unnecessary scenes while the film is supposed to be terminated a few
minutes earlier. There was a sub-plot romance of Daniel with his girlfriend who
actually do not need to be included in this movie though, well, this scene then
continues on the bed scene so if you like the scene this might even be a plus
for you. For me personally this little story that has been damaging flow
flowing neatly before. You were expecting a shooting action scenes in this film
would be disappointed because it is more focused Erik Matt
So my opinion is
... if you like movies such as Infernal Affairs or the Drug War on the job then
you should watch. Although the film failed miserably in the local release (not
suit the tastes of the market or too slap?) One day he will be placed in one of
the best films ever made in this country.
