Watch The Trailers
I believe that
there are two types of moviegoers will see a different side Gravity. The first
side is the moviegoers can understand how serious the artistic vision of
Alfonso Cuaron, understand the symbolism of the story, and was struck with an
intense scene after scene of intense presented the director. Both sides? What distinguishes these two groups of people? The answer is imagination. One mindset that you need to take before watching Gravity is your imagination. Imagine how horrible you when there is a space in silence. In a place where no one can help you. Ya. No one. Just one small mistake you do can have fatal consequences and you could get killed. Ya. Imagine how tiny human speck in the middle of the span space according to Einstein supposedly continue indefinitely expanded since created at the beginning of the first big bang.
Dr. Ryan Stone
and Matt Kowalski are two very different astronauts. Dr. Ryan Stone in her
first mission in space and as a rookie he still frequently make mistakes and
nervous. Hey, who would not be nervous when there in space there? On the other
hand Matt Kowalski is a veteran astronaut who relaxed. He may have been too
often see things that few other people would not see the rest of her life
(read: Space) and this is his last mission in space. He wants to retire after
this. What should have been a simple space mission suddenly becomes harmful
after a flake of missiles Russia leads to them. Inevitable collision, killing
the entire crew of the rocket Explorer - leaving Ryan and Matt as the two
remaining survivors.Please visit here
Gravity is
indeed one of the best films in 2013's; but you should see it in the proper
medium. And it is the right medium IMAX 3D cinema. If you've never tried it,
the giant theater format Gravity is the right film for her. Alfonso Cuaron
carefully designing all the cinematography in this film to give impact to the
audience. 3D effect here is not only used to just throw debris into the eyes of
the audience space but also to demonstrate the depth and breadth of space that
seemed interesting and suck us into it. It's hard to pin down with words!
Contrast is the
theme of Gravity ranging from gender differences and the nature of the two main
characters, differences in their philosophies about life, until a shot-by-shot
scenes of a dark space with rich earth colors and the vast space with a rocket
that feels cramped. Impression that silent space in the absence of any
amplified sound OST lack of existing background noise. Even so when the music
started to play Steven Price, especially in the ending movie, there is a change
in that looks so powerful and evocative. Gravity also follow the lead of many
other brilliant films such survivor Buried, 148 Hours, and Life of Pi. I would
not be surprised if he becomes contender for the upcoming Oscars - especially
for technical categories.
After all, what
makes Gravity so anesthetize not only lies in the beauty of the cinematography
and the tension is maintained throughout the film (remember film is only 90
minutes long so pacing quite rushed) but also the performance of the two main
characters. George Clooney and Sandra Bullock are equally charismatic here but
in the end it Bullock the real star in this movie; show susceptibility to the
toughness of a woman who had many trials in his life, but then bounced back.
After awakening Bullock in 2009 and he became one of Hollywood films with a
record of success that is very impressive. Being contender best artist?
Certainly.
