Mavis Gary (Charlize Theron), a ghostwriter for ailing teen novel, and an email from a former high school boyfriend, Buddy Slade (Patrick Wilson) makes her return to her hometown with one inconsequential mission: win the heart of Buddy, the which is actually a happy - married man.

I'm a big fan of Jason Reitman. His films are so lightweight but still has a unique strong impression (Reitman and musical tastes, especially in Juno and Up in the Air is awesome). Reportedly the latest movie, Labor Day which was released earlier this year did not quite succeed (Rotten Tomatoes only gives a score of 33%) and the score of the worst films Reitman. But I really like Reitman films such as Juno (2007) and Thank You For Smoking (2005) were quirky and witty - and Up in the Air (2009) is one of my favorite drama. Young Adult is Reitman movie is not the most remarkable, but Young Adult script that worked on Diablo Cody - who also wrote Juno has the same sense of humor - and it makes Young Adult remains as fascinating. FYI, Juno won the Best Original Screenplay at the 2007 Oscars I'm obviously not talking a sense of humor a la Adam Stiller or Jim Carrey, sense of humor this film is arguably a little sarcastic with the feel of a little black-comedy - if you're already watching Juno you understand what I talking about. Young Adult is a light comedy that will not make you roar with laughter, but there are many hilarious moments with a cool script that kick on target.Enjoy This

Young Adult is about how Mavis learn about herself. The characters are anti-heroes as the main characters are not going to like anyone. Mavis is a real bitch who is always an enemy in any movie set in a high school in Hollywood movies. He was successful and beautiful, but also so selfish character, superior and annoying. Who would like this type of person? And this is what makes Young Adult so interesting and refreshing - we are invited to explore the fragility of a Mavis that makes her friends jealous but actually nothing more than someone who is lonely and pathetic. There are many moments that are so miserable - or if arguably embarrassing from a Mavis. It makes me feel somehow have to hate or pity on Mavis. And then also raised the character of Matt, Mavis high school friend who seems to be in a different world with Mavis - a totally loser. Although both come from two different poles, actually united in the same loneliness. Matt suddenly became a kind of counterweight and contrarian  Mavis mission - and could be a good friend to Mavis.

Obviously, one of the reasons so vivid Young Adult is Charlize Theron. After watched her in Monster (a beautiful and sexy actress willing to turn into criminals lesbians are ugly), Charlize Theron is one of my favorite actresses. Somewhat disappointing when after inexplicably Monster Charlize Theron's movie career does not get better, she starred in the sci-fi / fantasy kind of Aeon Flux and Hancock, and the gag is too important a role in the movie Prometheus. Theron was able to bring a humane character Mavis is broken inside, but still still sucks. Another prominent actor Patton Oswalt as Matt is Frehauf, which is capable of displaying the character Matt is unfortunate and miserable. Theron and Oswalt are also able to show a strange chemistry, but dapet.

Overview:

Young Adult is not unusual pants Reitman movie before, but with a duration of 93 minutes Young Adult movie remains an entertaining and distinctive Reitman - lightweight but fun. Script written by Diablo Cody still intelligent, unique, and smartass. Finally a clear conclusion on the most brilliant moment of the entire film.
