There is one
reason why the films from the Philippines just like the movie of our country
(read: rarely or never be accepted in foreign countries). The reason is because
the films they worked on the theme is usually not far from cheesy dramas. My
Amnesia Girl is one grossing local film of all time in the Philippines (11
ranks until this article was written) and brings together two very popular
local artist local audience: John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga. Is this enough
to make this film to penetrate the international market?
Apollo is a
playboy who could never get a woman's right to her. The only girl who never
really melt her heart is Irene. But when Irene declared totally fell in love
with him and even invited him to the altar to Apollo turns frightened and fled.
It is very hurt Irene. After some time passed Apollo met again with Irene.
Apollo amazement when he saw Irene did not recognize him. Quizzed had inquired
turns Irene hit crash and get amnesia when she was sad to be left Apollo.
Apollo sees this as his chance to make Irene fall in love back to him ... but
he does not know one thing.
Irene actually
not really amnesia. He just said it reflexively just as irritation to the
Apollo has not passed. When Apollo pursued again, Irene would use this
opportunity to heart toying Apollo. Is Apollo attempt to mollify Irene back to
work? Or will the Apollo back in fright and run away and hurt the girl might
still keep the love for him. If you do not believe in love at first sight how

My Amnesia Girl
movie is actually not far from formula films Hollywood rom-com other. In other
words: clichés and stale. Some pick-up line used in this film seems sweet at
first but later even feels too forced to go with the flow so that the dialogue
seemed very unnatural and scripted. There are some scenes that are also written
by the author Jade Castro and directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina that looked very
much an extension of that emotional momentum even less.Please visit here
Yet despite all
the shortcomings that I actually quite enjoyed the movie My Amnesia Girl is due
to a solid performance from the two main stars: John Lloyd Cruz and Toni
Gonzaga. Both do have the right chemistry with each other. Cruz is known as the
king of the box office in the Philippines because of her duet that always fits
with a variety of artists ranging from Sarah Geronimo, Bea Alonzo, Toni Gonzaga
until this. On the other hand, Gonzaga also look cute in this movie never
appears as though toying Cruz sucks a figure almost throughout the film.
Outside of the two films is also decorated with some famous Filipino artist
guest stars Denise Laurel wide and Angel Locsin.
Despite having
the beginning and middle of the cliché relationship between the two main stars
that make this a fitting finale of this film was quite moving and touching -
especially for viewers who have felt the pain of losing true love because love
to reach the (lo why I even vent ?). It's a shame the acting of the supporting
actors and actresses in this film is not enough to help push the second
appearance of the main star.
