Watch The Trailers
From looking at
the trailer alone I know this movie is bad. The trailer like a combination of
300 and Spartacus but the results are illegitimate. But I give myself to watch
it. Lots of trailers that can be deceiving right? There is a bad movie when the
trailer is nice and there is again a good film despite bad trailer. Moreover,
this film starring Liam McIntyre that I like as Spartacus. Kellan Lutz for
itself ... well ... I do not hate it seem to most people, especially because I
am quite enjoy with Java Heat. But after I watched it then what is offered by
the trailer, that's what I get. A messy spectacle that is not worth watching.
Why?
The Legend of
Hercules is a movie that was never clear to her identity. Does he want to be a
fantasy film filled with monsters ala Clash of the Titans and Immortals or she
will be more movies depicting the legend as a kind of realistic facts 300 and
Spartacus? The Legend of Hercules opens with a scene of King Amphitryion wife
pleaded with the gods to stop the cruelty of her husband who continues to
expand his empire. The gods listened to the request in such form and in the
wind make love to the Queen Alcmene. The Queen gave birth to a son named
Hercules. Afraid her husband would be angry with that name, he replaced it with
Alcides.
Now the setting
moves to the next 20 years where the King and Queen curiously not aged at all
but their children have grown up. Alcides be a child who has always been more
powerful and skilled than his brother Iphicles. The mother is much more fond of
Alcides was made Iphicles envious of her sister. Aware that he could hurt
Alcides to win her love, Iphicles boyfriend also asked her sister as her fiance
Hebes. The father was 'throw' Alcides into battle in Egypt, hoping that the

What to expect
King Amphityrion happen. The whole group with the exception of Alcides
tertumpas him and Captain Sotiris sold as a Gladiator. Began the effort both
rise as the Gladiator, freedom fighting and return to his kingdom in order to

There are so
many things wrong in this movie that I do not know where to start. The scene
plays lilting is one of them. Hercules relationship with anyone in this film
never looks convincing. How to do with Hebes start? What happened during his
childhood with his brother Iphicles so so jealous of her? Kellan Lutz acting
here is so bad and far from the figure that she carries caucasian confusion in
Java Heat. But I did not expect the quality of the acting of the artists
graduated from Twilight ... what is most disappointing to me is ...
How is the
script writer of this movie handles the character played by Liam McIntyre
Sotiris. McIntyre has the potential to make Sotiris side badass character since
she was used to play the genre of sword-and-sandals in Spartacus. But in this
film he made for the sake of the beard of Zeus who was beaten like a fool all
the people and should always be helped by Hercules. For those who follow the
series Spartacus is certainly very disappointing to see their hero being a
loser. Even so at least McIntyre gives the best performance compared to other
cast members.
Make-up and CG
effects in this movie ... ridiculous. Action set-piece is quite exciting in
some scenes and there is one that makes me laugh to see how Renny Harlin crispy
give homage to God of War game. You will know which scene it was when it
appeared on the screen. However, for each of the two set-piece action is
impressive, Renny Harlin also seemed ready to give us the CG scenes are
ridiculous.
