Anchorman 2 is a
comedy that is arguably the most eagerly awaited. Since Anchorman one slowly
but surely become a cult classic that is very popular with fans, the fans
begging to be worked on Anchorman 2. Year after year passed without any
definite news to Will Ferrell finally declared last year that Anchorman 2 will
be worked. Marketing for the sake of marketing, which is formulated so precisely
since then makes the hype of this film continues to increase. With the premiere
date a very nice box office critics think that Anchorman 2 will be one of the
biggest hits this holiday season.
The result is
far from it. Anchorman 2 get solid results in 5 days: 40 Million USD and most
likely will pass the 100 million USD at the end of the next orbit. But when
factoring the increase in ticket prices coupled with the interest of the masses
is so large before the release then it is questionable why Anchorman 2 could
not be as successful as alleged by critics? Is the hype that there is only a
mistake in reading the market? Or maybe the market at the moment has a
competition that is too tight?
Speaking of
competition is too tight, there are four films release simultaneously this
week. Outside there are two films Anchorman 2 is aiming for Oscar: American
Hustle and Saving Mr. Banks and the market targeting children (families) in
Walking with Dinosaurs. American Hustle and Saving Mr. Banks achieve some positive
results this week. With the support of a sprinkling of stars opening American
Hustle 19.1 Million USD glance seem disappointing, but make no mistake.
Christmas season is the biggest of the season and the end of the year will be
much room for him to continue to add to the coffers of dollars. American Hustle

On the other
hand Saving Mr. Banks may not be able to achieve this target by opening only 9
Million USD. Even so figure 80-90 Million USD could still be reached. Please
understand the hype of this film is not as high as the American Hustle because
only Emma Thompson receiving the praises of critics. Tom Hanks was praised but
most critics actually pay more attention to performance in Captain Phillips.
Walking with
Dinosaurs is the last that seeks to challenge Frozen and failed miserably. Not
only it can only get 7 million USD alone, Frozen income even completely
unaffected. The decline in revenue is only 15% carry Frozen reached 191.5
million USD. With the holiday season in front of him is not impossible for
Frozen to break the 300 million USD and became one of the biggest hits of the
