Street Fighter Assassin's Fist

Movie Trailers
The film adaptation of the game so far always failed in the market. Even among those who are successful (and very few) there are only one or two are really loved by the masses. Street Fighter is no exception. Has twice the adaptation of the most famous fighting video game of all time was adapted to the big screen starring The first is the most famous action star of the time: Jean Claude Van Damme and the results are not very successful at the box office. The second is titled The Legend of Chun-Li even more upsetting. The film failed miserably in the market (the flop). Strange of both movies is how they do not focus on the character of Ryu and Ken, the two main characters in the Street Fighter. Can you imagine two Tomb Raider films appeared on the big screen but not the preferred character Lara Croft? Or Super Mario Bros. movie that the main character instead of Toad and Yoshi?
The success of Mortal Lombat: Legacy movie in turn fighting series Mortal Kombat webseries on the internet in the form of an inspiration for practitioners of martial arts and stunt movies: Joey Ansah and Christian Howard to create a series of web-like format about Street Fighter. DariStreet Fighter: Legacy is a one-shot work was later developed into Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist throughout the 12 episodes. Focuses on the rivalry of Ryu and Ken coupled with the rivalry between the older and younger brother Gouken Gouki (Akuma), this could be a movie / series Street Fighter to look forward to by the fans?.Please Visit This
What I appreciate about this film is how he really respect the real Street Fighter mythology, not randomize-randomness as the previous two films. Assassin's Fist takes place in the era before video games (even before Street Fighter Alpha) and focusing on periods where Ryu and Ken are still studying Karate under Gouken flow. Ryu and Ken since his youth already has a different character and nature where Ryu quieter and more easily covered while Ken explosive emotions. Rivalry between the two is sharpened when they began to be persuaded by the power flow misguided Satsui no Hado.
Unbeknownst to both Ryu and Ken, Gouken their teacher kept a secret about the flow Ansatsuken (Assassin's Fist) is an aura of darkness Satsui no Hado. The same aura that once mastered his sister: Gouki in youth which makes Gouki kill their teacher: Goutetsu. What a tragedy that happened in the past will again occur in this period? Can Ryu and Ken graduated from their teachings and turned into a champion of karate as we know it today?
Given the limited budget I was actually quite impressed by how this movie has a lot of beautiful scenery, not surprising since the majority of the filming takes place in the country of Bulgaria. The actors were not known except Hyunri how that might be familiar to fans of Japanese series. Even so amateur actors involved in this film is actually performed quite well, especially on the portion flashbacknya. I like the appearance of Togo Igawa, Gaku Space, and Shogen as Goutetsu, young Gouken and Gouki young. Salut also that the producer of this film is actually letting the characters here speak with Japanese dialogue.
At the present time no appearance of Mike Moh, Christian Howard, until Akira Koieyama not bad. I am a little disappointed that Jon Foo from Street Fighter: Legacy is not back in this series because frankly Mike Moh little too skinny for his role as Ryu. It got worse when he together with Christian Howard who plays Ken. After all, at least these three all have one advantage: they are a martial artist so that each about of exercise montage and it feels authentic and cool. Once again proof love how they look with moves like the Hadouken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki-senpu kyaku everything is displayed correctly even with a limited budget.
This film does not have a weakness rather than at all. Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist sometimes feels too long and lose focus. The story was supposed to be quite familiar to those who are already well familiar with the mythology Street Fighter even for those who do not know who it was Ryu and Ken, the reason of course is because the story is basically the story of almost every martial arts movie that has themes reply revenge. Little focus on this film I hope will begin to be widened by introducing some of the favorite characters of other fans when only the sequel tilled (Chun-li anyone?).

So my conclusion is ... the fans should not miss the movie Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist. It's not a perfect movie. Far from it, but from karate choreography authentic (and fun), the incorporation of moves that legendary game, this film will bring us nostalgic for the era we all play ding dong. Sweet nostalgia, nostalgia is not full of angry while watching two movies as the live-action Street Fighter before.
