Cloud Atlas

The latest film from brothers Wachoswki is an adaptation of the novel by David Mitchell. Almost the same with Life of Pi, Cloud Atlas is a very difficult novel to be adapted to the big screen. More remarkable is the film does not have any major Hollywood studios that gave him the funds involved in the project, although this is actually the names of the actors are quite famous, including Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and Tom Hanks. As a result Cloud Atlas to be one of the most expensive independent film in the world. The story of the underdog is not covered by sweet because Cloud Atlas failed to close the purse in screenings around the world. Is this film is too difficult to understand and more palatable in the form of a written word?

Dead Man down

Which version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo that you like? Hollywood version, directed by David Fincher or Swedish version directed by Niels Arden Oplev? Regardless of which version you like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a blessing for the many parties involved in it. Since the success of the film the two main actors: Michael Nyqvist and Noomi Rapace has been successfully go hollywood. Not to be outdone by the two actors that he eventually fielding Niels Arden Oplev the director went into Hollywood with a directorial debut: Dead Man Down. In this film besides wearing Colin Farrell as the main star Rapace Oplev also invited. Coupled with the stars are pretty slick as Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard is Dead Man Down could be a good thriller?

Star Trek Into Darkness

If asked to compare between the two popular sci-fi franchise Star Trek Star Warsdan which one is better I can not because I love both of them. But when asked which is more popular then the answer becomes much easier. Without shrink Star Trek, Star Wars is clearly the more popular franchise. Star Trek franchise even had to go through dark times after they failed feature films and TV series the rating continues to decline until eventually canceled. But executives at studio Paramount know that what they have to do to make Star Trek relevant again is to reboot.

Fast & Furious 6

The title of this movie is actually what? Fast & Furious 6, Fast Six, or Furious Six? Ah I do not know. The more important question to ask is after this movie achieve tremendous popularity with the success of Fast Five Furious Six whether to continue with the same formula that is to return one more time to face the popular racing franchise of this? As already known from the post-ending scene in Fast Five Letty apparently presumed dead at the end of the movie Fast & Furious (the fourth film is not the first) was still alive.

The Tunnel

Now the trend is working on a horror film with a minimum budget. The success of Paranormal Activity revived as genre found footage that was once popular when The Blair Witch Project is released. Strangely enough this phenomenon since The Blair Witch Project was a popular because people do not know whether it is real or not (and the internet was still in the premature). Currently with bells,  computers and so many found footage film snobs practical curiosity about whether a movie like this is really happening is not there. We know that the movie ... so if the tunnel has an element x which can make effective scare the audience?

Jurassic Park

Sometimes it's hard to believe time passes so quickly. One of the monumental films in the decade of the 90s, Jurassic Park was released in 1993, now 20 years old. To commemorate the 20th anniversary, the Universal was working on a 3D version of this film and re-release it in the theater-theater throughout the world. I myself remember watching Jurassic Park as a child and was so stunned by it. Although it's been a few times after watching it on TV again I miss repeating watch Jurassic Park on the big screen. Whether additional 3D movie can re-create this impressive?

Epic

Among the three major animation studio Pixar, Dreamworks, and Blue Sky is actually the most vulnerable position to be shifted to the new animation studios. If Pixar animated film is already the king of the world making it difficult to slide. Dreamworks uses different strategies by means of the quantity released the film as much as possible and hope and hopefully some have quality above average. Blue Sky behind arguably the two main competitors. Beyond the Ice Age franchise films their other original animation is quite successful but not big enough to be a franchise. Blue Sky once again betting on new franchise which this time is entitled to a dashing title: Epic.
