World War Z

Problems, issues, and problems are things that keeps me reading of news concerned with the making of this film. Produced and starring Brad Pitt, World War Z had a long road and  turns in its transformation from novel to the big screen. Some times it happens overhaul filming even re-re-script to the end of the film which was considered out of sync with the previous sections. Because of all of this is the film World War Z experiencing withdrawal from the 2012 release schedule last year to this. Not only that its budget ballooned from 125 million USD to 200 million USD more. Are all these painstakingly make the results comparable to World War Z as a spectacle zombies different from most zombie movies?

In this film Brad Pitt plays a UN agent named Gerry Lane. Gerry recently resigned from his position in the UN, but when a sudden zombie outbreak happened in New Jersey where he lived he would have to be returned within a multi-national organization. To be a wife and two children may stay in a safe place along with the soldiers Gerry was asked to go back to the battlefield to find what exactly is the beginning of the zombie outbreak and how it went. Failure is not an option here because the fate of millions of people is at stake.

Based on the novel by Max Brooks (son of Mel Brooks comedy film director) World War Z really is not an easy novel to be filmed. The reason is that the novel does not have a protagonist throughout the story and with cut and more a collection of articles, news, and event reports on what happened in a decade over the human battle against the zombies. The format of this course must be overhauled all-out in a mob movie script tilled by many people ranging from Matthew Michael Carnahan and J. Michael Straczynski to Damon Lindelof and Drew Goddard in charge of overhauling the end of the movie. The result?

Depending on which side you want to see first. If you are expecting World War Z as a trilogy of George Romero's new Dead aka a zombie movie that has the smell of political and social message then you will be disappointed because this film, as recognized by Brad Pitt himself, forced to ignore some of the social aspects in it in order to speed up the pacing story has a beginning - middle - and the clear film. But on the other hand if you are fans of the movie Dawn of the Deadremake Zack Snyder's work then this movie you will surely enjoy doing. 30 minutes beginning of the film is primarily a sequence of brilliant moments that made me tense to watch. It is a pity that such a high blood pressure is not always successfully retained by Foster's in every scene of the zombie invasion.

Better known as tenants drama films rather than blockbusters (records belonging to Foster directing blockbuster so far only one of James Bond's Quantum of Solace) is actually pretty good director describe the zombies here. What was once I think of as the effects of bad CG zombie invasion here is more polished look neat and realistic. But there is a bit of my complaints to Foster, could not so contrived that the zombie is not too over-acting? Some people are so amused to see that sometimes their behavior like excessive.

In terms of casting it seems Brad Pitt is the only actor who plays a vital role here. Pitt showed maturity as one of the talented senior actor in Hollywood in this film. He is fluent build chemistry with his wife - children up to the characters that he encountered during his journey to find the cause and cure of this zombie outbreak. Is it perfect Pitt? No, but the pacing of the flash movie will make you pay attention to the weakness of trouble it. Additionally Marco Beltrami music fits the atmosphere of terror and hopes.
