The art of steal

Watch The Trailers
Heist movie is one of my favorite genres. I do not know why it feels always happy just to see a movie in usually have a twist ending that is able to deceive me. Heist movie is good usually have one of two things: the heist scenes choreographed with fantastic action set-piece (ala Fast Five) or plan a brilliant heist that opens a whole new plan at the time of the ending (ala Now You See Me) or a mix of both (Inception-style). The Art of How to Steal? Somewhat of a heist movie-budget class B limited because it is not released on the big screen, this movie can pull it off?

Crunch Calhoun have languished in prison for many years after a robbery that he did with his half-brother Nicky failed. Five and a half years old then Crunch is free but he lost all his enthusiasm into a work of art thieves anymore like it used to. Crunch changed direction risking his money for the sake of a small motorbike. This unfortunately fate changed when Nicky lagii invited to join in the plundering of new projects. Crunch is certainly difficult to believe at first with her sister Nicky after the betrayal before, but in the end want to join because of their financial lives more difficult (blame the wife who matre). With high blood pressure in a group of thieves is their plan can go smoothly?
I do not much expects to work Jonathan Sobol (he became director and script writer) because I know this is a heist movie class B. Therefore, I was surprised to realize I really enjoy him. This movie had a great start to a generic heist genre. Betrayal faced by Crunch at the beginning of the film is practically the same as the beginning of the film The Italian Job. Nothing new here. The Art of the Steal new show courage to be different when the film actually began designing the theft of the Bible into the main story. The portion of each character in the film is divided by clear and we know what each of their roles in this heist. Please visit here
Even more refreshing is the presence of a duet again Terence Stamp, and Jason Jones. The two men were tasked with capturing the crew Crunch has a chemistry that fit perfectly with each other - read: Stamp has a lot of one-liners and sarcasm that strikes me laughing so hard while making Jones. In any group of thieves I love the chemistry between Kurt Russell and Matt Dillon. Dillon mainly makes me continue to wonder from start to finish if he is still scheming as first or he really repented and want to make peace with his brother. Beside him enough to steal the scene stealer Jay Baruchel is a concern, the only figure in the middle of the green is a veteran thief.
All the good appearance of the character in this film will not mean anything if the story line in The Art of the Steal worse. Fortunately not so. Within 90 minutes of pacing the story in this film moves quickly but never too hurried to make the audience will confused. There are many components in the film include some flashback stories of the past but all presented with a straightforward and clearly so that the audience always understands what is happening. And when the plot twist emerged at the end of the film (hey, every genre Heist definitely got this right?) I can guess what it was about but the procession twist explanation of how it is done keep me give applause. Nicely done!

So my conclusion is ... The Art of the Steal prove that a B-movie can appear no less exciting with big-budget films. The most important is a strong script and solid performances from the actor-artist and The Art of the Steal has it all. Check it out if you are a fan of the genre Heist!
