White House Down

It's still fresh in my memory how the White House this year has fallen twice in the hands of terrorists and terrorist group Cobra Korea. But not finished building now sworn enemy of the White House ready ransacked again. Who else if not the enemy it seems Roland Emmerich revenge once the building on this one? But this time it's not an alien or a natural disaster that will destroy the White House, but the terrorists who hate the United States, Channing Tatum can save him?

After his career in the military is no longer growing John Cale stopped into the army and became a security guard of the Presidential Spokesman. But Cale's dream not just be a security guard of the number two or three of the President. He wants to be a part of the Secret Service - team members who were specifically presidential guard. Incidentally the POTUS (President of the United States) are currently being created controversy with his decision to withdraw all troops from the Middle East. President James Sawyer's decision to make himself a target of terrorists.

And the terrorist attacks occurred at the time really was not right. When John Cale is undergoing an interview at the White House, he asked his little daughter Emily gentlemen with him. The terrorist attacks on the White House to make the two separate. John, who met with the president should work together to contact the outside world and tell the world that there is still the control in the hands of America. On the other hand outside the White House team had to figure out who the real brains behind the attack on the White House and what the real motivation?

Screenplay written by James Vanderbilt is of course very light in terms of plot. Almost no twist is not predictable by you guys here. I myself can guess who the perpetrators of the attack on the White House a new five-minute film runs! Political element in this film - like most typical Emmerich movie the other - is very thick. The decision of President James to pull the troops out of the Middle East makes me smile because it seems way Emmerich to insinuate that since the beginning of President Obama has promised shook the same thing but always half-half in its execution - even up to the time the film was released though.

Despite all the political elements that are responsible included in this movie I love the duet Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx in the film. Tatum proves that acting in the comedy 21 Jump Street no accident here in which he was able to joke along with Foxx. Foxx however appear more brilliant audience laugh because it is more natural to appear as a comedian. The right chemistry between the two makes the White House Down - which is actually less bombastic scene set-piece than Olympus Has Fallen - still favors followed. For supporting characters do not stand out nearly all except Joey King who now have grown more mature. Last glimpse of a cute little girl who had stolen my heart and Beezus in Ramona has now become a teen with a sweet little face reminds me of Chloe Grace Moretz-young.

Although I personally prefer to how the White House takeover action in Olympus Has Fallen event in the White House has been taken over more exciting in the White House Down. Emmerich with smart briefed the audience about anything just browse through a tour of the White House before the start of the movie and then utilize it in action scenes in the mid to climax. 90s action movie fans should be proud that this year must have satisfied their thirst with two takeover of the White House this movie. Yes, just please forget about that miserable A Good Day to Die Hard. The key to why the scene in the White House more exciting as I mentioned above, while Gerard Butler had to raise their own films here Foxx Tatum and work together for the audience while keeping your stomach churning tension suspense story.
